face your fears
This is decidedly eerie, particularly the face down in what appears to be water at the bottom. Is it a clever mirror-imaging arranged multiple times? I feel there is a story behind this image.
You have a great eye Lee!
Yes, it is multiple mirror imaging (x4 + reflection). The face in the water at the bottom is buddha from our garden. This collage is quite large (75cm x 50cm) and the detail is missed in this smaller version.
mmmm eerie 😮
Possibly the detail I’m missing could explain more of the story 🙂
Wonderful image – makes me wonder what it started out as …
It started out as a photograph of a sandstone cliff near our home (Sydney, Australia). The water is from a nearby lagoon on a windless morning. The sky is from a clouded sunrise over the ocean. Nature does it best…
You did a great job putting it all together into an intriguing balanced design.
An another amazing piece of work, Joe! And the photos of the waves? Wow!
Thank you Anne. I hope you are well and your computer is safe and singing!
I am healthy, wealthy, and wise. Not really, but am well enough 🙂
Computers are singing well enough to let me blog a bit.
